Whataburger in Soutd Padre Island

Ordered and paid online but had to wait in a long line and go through the drive through. Not very smart!

Went thru drive thru part of order was missing. They were unable to compensate me. I was told to come back at a later date. Being that this was the last day of my vacation and i am at my hotel this is unacceptable. Especially since I was in the drive thru for 45 minutes.

Worst Whataburger I’ve ever had!!!! After politely asking for my burger to be cut in half at the window (NOT during a busy time), i received a look of annoyance. All avocado was on one half of the burger AND in a huge clump. Pickles and tomatoes were thrown all in one clump onto the burger as well. It felt as if I was being strangely punished for making a simple request? During this quarantine, a simple pleasure like a good burger would have been nice. Disappointed. Wait to get to the mainland for a quality burger If you dare to make specific modifications like having it CUT IN HALF 🙄

We came to South Padre Island for vacation and wanted Whataburger, our order was right and it was so good.

Good service and fast on getting customers out

People are very nice, however both times we were here the reataurant was out of multiple items from the menu despite being early in the day. Also, the orders were wrong (missing add onsn and items we orderes). Seems the restauran needs some improvements.

Obviously at this time of crisis and misfortune this Whataburger is not ready to open as they forgot half my order as my wife and son, and I went out to the beach to catch a little air during these times.Bad experience I love Whataburger but this was really upsetting. :(

Ordered 2 burgers and they were both cold. My patty and cheese were as if pulled out the fridge. How? I had never had this experience with whataburger.

Not your run-of-the-mill greasy burger joint. Tasty burgers made with quality ingredients. Sweet tea is freshly brewed and made with cane sugar. 🤤

Most whataburger you gotta wait inline.. nothings new on that.. verything is ok they got my order complete and correct but just 4stars coz my food was cold..

Chicken Bacon avocado sandwich without the bun was incredibly tasty! Glad McDonald's didn't want my business. We ate much better going to the Whataburger where the staff was far friendlier and food so much better.

Placed an online order and was suppose to be ready in 7 min. 30 minutes later I finally got my order with cold fries. Had to ask for fresh fries. Other than that burger was pretty good.

8 am today, workers lied and said they were closed. They had a drive through open and would not allow foot traffic. The wait for food is long and I saw some messed up orders last night. Avoid this place.

First time. Fries and rings were tasty but we did not enjoy our bacon cheese burgers- they were cold, the cheese not even melted and the meat was cold and no taste to the meat but the Bacon was tasty. No condiments on bun, dry. Ok in a pinch I guess...

It was the best Whataburger I ever had..

Ordered online and still had to wait in the line backed up to the road. No one would answer the phone when tried calling in for a pickup.

Ordered curbside, waited 10 minutes no one came out to greet me. Ended up going inside ( which I don't like doing) all to wait again. Once I was helped, the had not even started my order, and then they tell me they're out of what I ordered. Never have I been treated with an attitude from whataburger. Hope it's not a new trend. Guess they forgot the customer pays for their paycheck.

We were in line for quite some time. We were traveling from Houston. We placed a large order and it was terrible. The attitudes that we received after informing them that the Food was cold was unacceptable. I contacted management at the location and was contacted by Guadalupe Hernandez who could not help with my issue at all. I was told that I was going to be contacted by the GM and it has been over two weeks. Nothing. This is unacceptable when consumers are spending their hard earned money and receiving bad food and terrible service. 😫

Great service and following the guidelines and being very professional about it. Ordered slot of food and helped carry it out to our vehicle. Thank you.

Good but not great .... but you know what you are getting and probably among the best values because Whataburger keeps their prices the same as elsewhere/ off island

Horrible experience and food. Asked for 2 justaburger kid's meal and the lady was rude when I asked for apple slices, rolled her eyes and said this was not McDonald's. I told her well there is a picture with apple slices on your kids menu and she was like well there is no option here. I ordered my kid's burgers with cheese and they forgot the cheese. When I told them they just put a cold piece of cheese on the burger. Our burger's meat was undercooked and the cheese was not even melted on the adult burgers either. Will never be coming back here again.

Probably the fastest service I've had at any whataburger, ever. And I've been to whataburger locations all over the entire state and the staff at this location will consistently have my order ready in very little time, at a high quality, regardless of how full it is.

It was great but the line for order was long. Whataburger is still my place for a good burger 🍔.

You can never go wrong with Whataburger.

They seem understaffed because of corona. Especially for being one of the only places open late. Our food was still amazing for what it is. Took a while but, totally worth it.

I love the food but it was crowded and they move too slow, plus its 30cents for sauce even when u get fries n stuff..

I asked for no dressings they always give me mayo ! I dont like it ! It's a always! But good food thx

Salad was good but charge extra for salad dressing, and honey mustard. Also were given spoons to eat salad

They open the dinner area but we devide to eat in our car, they always take care of the customers

It's the best burger place I've ate at ever, wish we had a Whataburger in Kansas City Kansas!

The fries and ketchup were awesome. That's it. I got the regular cheese burger with extra pickles. The bun was stale and the burger was basically room temperature. The fries were hotter than the burger which showed me which was the most fresh. I got the impression that my burger was sitting under a light all day.

Took over 40 minutes to get our food, got our order wrong, and said "Sorry, nothing we can do." Great experience if you don't want to get what you order and get ripped off for it.

Burger and fries weredispi. We asked for toasted buns. I believe the buns were toasted on the grill. There was a burned taste. If the buns weren't toasted on the grill the patty was cooked in burnt oil as it wasn't scraped prior to placing it on the grill. Aside from this slight carelessness, everything was near perfection. Would of been a 5 star review. 3 stars given although I should of probably given a 2 star rating. This can easily be remedied.

A delicious TX classic, comparable to five guys, or In-N-Out, for you west coasters. Well worth the visit! Delicious food, delicious dips, as well!

It's Whataburger. What more need I say? The service is great, the food is great. Get the Monterey melt. Trust me. I'm currently out of state for a few months and I am missing it so much. Eat one for me please

We sat , and are still sitting in the drive through waiting for our order in the outer lane. The cash lane is moving fast. We called the manager. They said they are understaffed. They do not have their orders in order. A worker came to the car asking if we had a small order. Incorrect. Please check your bag beforeYou leave.

To say that this place is busy is a gross understatement as it is the only decent fastfood chain on the island. There are other places sure, but where else can you get that delicious BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich? Despite the massive lines, these workers do a pretty good job of getting orders done and out in a decent matter of time.
